Wokingham Town FC took on Reading City FC in a local derby with the game played on Wokingham Town’s home ground achieving a 3:1 victory.
Supporters lined the sidelines on Wednesday night to watch the home team battle their way to come out on top. Wokingham Town are now 14th in the table, with only a few games remaining before the season ends.
The first Wokingham goal was fired into the back of the Reading City goal in the first half of the game with subsequent goals during the second half to make a nice finish for Wokingham Town.
Wokingham first team play this Saturday at home again, hosting British Airways FC this time around.
Wokingham Town were very fresh and quick off the mark to keep Reading City away from pushing goals into their area. The last game of the season will be at home on April 5th at 3pm playing Edgware and Kingsbury.
