Winnersh, Wokingham – Monday 26 January – Burger lovers, mark your calendars. Five Guys is set to open its newest restaurant at Showcase Winnersh, bringing its famous burgers, hand-cut fries and customisable shakes to the area – complete with a drive-thru and full breakfast menu.

The new Winnersh Showcase restaurant will be just the seventh Five Guys drive-thru location in the UK and only the eighth nationwide to serve the full breakfast menu, giving customers even more choice from early morning through to late evening.

Whether guests are dining in, grabbing a quick takeaway or enjoying the convenience of the drive-thru, a dedicated Five Guys team will be on hand to deliver the brand’s trademark freshness, quality and flavour.

“We’re beyond thrilled to be opening a new store in the Reading area,” said Khaled Seliem, District Manager at Five Guys.
“We can’t wait to welcome the local community and serve our signature favourites. We’re also incredibly proud that this store offers a Blue Light Card discount as a small way of saying thank you to NHS staff, emergency services and armed forces personnel who work tirelessly every day. We truly salute you.”

Fresh ingredients, endless choice

Five Guys

Five Guys is renowned for its commitment to quality, using only the freshest ingredients with no freezers in its restaurants. With 15 free toppings available, customers can create over 250,000 different burger combinations, from classic cheeseburgers and all-beef hot dogs to bunless lettuce-wrapped options. Health-conscious diners can also enjoy a Five Guys lettuce wrap with a Coca-Cola Zero Sugar for just £10.

And then there are the fries. Five Guys’ famous portions are known for their generous extra scoop, with customers able to choose between salted or Cajun seasoning. Hand-cut daily and cooked in peanut oil, the fries are calibrated twice a day to ensure every batch is crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Introducing Loaded Fries

The Winnersh opening also showcases Five Guys’ latest menu addition: Loaded Fries. The brand’s signature fries are topped with hot cheese sauce, secret fry sauce and up to 14 toppings of your choice, creating a fully customisable and indulgent upgrade to a fan favourite.

Shakes made your way

Five Guys’ milkshakes continue to be a standout, thanks to a rich, creamy base and countless mix-in options. From Oreo and peanut butter to seasonal specials like Cinnamon Bun, customers can create their perfect shake, with limited-edition flavours appearing throughout the year.

A new pitstop for Winnersh & Reading

With its prime location at Showcase Winnersh, the new Five Guys is set to become a go-to destination for locals, commuters and visitors alike – whether stopping by for breakfast, lunch on the go or an indulgent evening meal.

Founded in Virginia in 1986 and launching in the UK in 2013 at London’s Covent Garden, Five Guys has grown rapidly to become one of the country’s most-loved restaurant brands, with a fiercely loyal following.

About Five Guys

Founded in 1986 by the Murrell family in Virginia, Five Guys opened its first UK restaurant in Covent Garden on 4 July 2013. The brand prides itself on using only the freshest ingredients, with no freezers in its restaurants. Potatoes are sourced fresh, hand-cut daily and cooked in peanut oil, while burgers are grilled to order. Customers can even check the noticeboard to see which local farm their potatoes came from. With over 250,000 burger combinations and more than 1,000 ways to customise a milkshake, Five Guys never compromises on quality.
