Kind-hearted resident from Woodley Mr Ronnie Goodberry handed out dozens of Easter eggs to children at Addington School in Woodley.
Addington School is an Outstanding Special School for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. All the pupils’ primary needs are learning difficulties with up to 50 per cent also having autism.
Ronnie Goodberry appealed for Easter eggs and donations came from all corners of Woodley with him collecting 270 in total. He said: “People are so kind in the Woodley area and always respond well to requests to help others. The children just loved their Easter eggs.”
There were plenty left over – about 219 – so the remaining Easter eggs will go to disadvantaged families in the Woodley area.
