Wokingham in Need volunteers have been working hard on the sensory garden at Wokingham Community Hospital, preparing it for winter.
And they would like to say a big thank you to Dell Technologies for their wonderful assistance in helping get the garden ready for winter.
Also thank you to Wendy at Winnersh Garden Centre for their donation of plants for use the sensory garden! They’ll help keep it looking good through the winter!
Known as the Ascot Garden, it is made up of raised beds planted with flowers and a patio and pergola to be used as a seating area. The space has been created to stimulate and engage the senses and aid relaxation, through sight, sound, smell, and touch.
Wokingham in Need were also delighted to be a beneficiary of Wokingham Fireworks recently – and the team enjoyed participating in the fun of the torchlit parade.
