This upcoming Easter school holiday, Wokingham will continue offering the popular Wild Days Holiday Club to your young ones at Dinton Pastures Country Park.
Designed for children aged eight to 13 years, the half-day holiday club sessions will be run from April 3 to 6 (Monday to Thursday) and April 11 to 14 (Tuesday to Friday).
There will be two activities in each session. They have recently added fencing to the wide range of land and water activities that participants can choose to take part in. Other activities include indoor climbing, archery, raft building, kayaking and stand-up paddle-boarding.
Each session costs £30 per person. Book early as places are filling fast.
Young people will soon be able to set sail again at Dinton Pastures, with the Junior Sailing Weeks returning for the Easter holiday.
They will be running the full Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Youth Sailing Scheme for ages eight to 13 years during the weeks of April 3 to 11.
There are a total of four stages under the RYA scheme. If your child doesn’t have any experience in sailing but is interested in having a try, you can sign them up to the stage one program, which introduces the basic principles of dinghy sailing.
Experienced participants can progress through the RYA syllabus to more advanced modules by joining the stage two to four programs.
Each stage of the Junior Sailing Week program has four sessions and costs £290 per week.

Dinton Activity Centre will offer archery taster sessions during the coming Easter long weekend.
You don’t need to have any previous experience to join a session. The bows used are suitable for junior or adult beginners. The professional team will teach you how to shoot a bow and arrow, and provide you with tips and technique through competition and games.
You can book the activity as part of a party with your family and friends. Children aged six or above can also take part when accompanied by a paying adult.
