Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey was back in Wokingham for a spot of Zumba as he continued on the campaign trail.
His latest visit to the Berkshire town saw him call in at Elms Field in the town centre to lend his support to parliamentary candidate, Clive Jones, ahead of the polls on Thursday July 4th.
He has been a regular face in the town of late, supporting Mr Jones who has been predicted to win the historically safe Tory seat. Sir John Redwood, the current MP who has been serving the town since 1987 made a surprise decision to step down recently.
From paddleboarding to bungee jumping, mini golf to tennis, the Lib Dem leader has become well known for his fitness stunts during this election campaign. But he said the exercise class he took part in, and encouraging people to maintain their fitness, was all about living life to the full.
And he added that some other campaigns have been ‘a bit dull’ while he tries to inject a bit of fun into the proceedings while taking his role very seriously.
