For more than 50 years the name Woodside Recycling has played a major roll in the local community. Woodside Recycling is owned by Richard Forster, a former resident of Westfields Road, Winnersh, and offers a cardboard and paper recycling service from local shops and offices across the Wokingham area.
Hard work over a number of years meant the business was able to invest in a plant for recycling in nearby Grazeley Green where much of the area’s waste is recycled today.
Mr Forster said: “We save company’s a big amount of money when they recycle with us plus it saves the cardboard and paper going into landfill. We all have to be green,” he added.
“Today at Woodside Recycling our finished bailed cardboard and paper is shipped around the world to other mills then turned back into recycled paper and cardboardPeople are most welcome to call in to our plant in Goodboys Lane, Grazeley Green, with their cardboard and paper to drop off free of charge. We are a friendly and happy team of people who just love to recycle.”
Today Woodside Recycling has extended its service to North Hampshire and Oxfordshire and across the Berkshire area.
