A Hurst-based charity held a barbecue at the weekend to thank all their volunteers for the work that they do.
Each year The Cowshed puts on a celebration to thank each and every one of their volunteers.
A spokesman said: “We now have more than 200 volunteers and it was lovely to see everyone together!
We also had some amazing entertainment from local Ukrainian children. When our Ukrainian volunteers heard we were having a volunteer BBQ they asked if some of their children could come and perform dances to thank our volunteers for all that they had done for The Cowshed to support Ukrainians.”
Nora Phillips said: “It was a lovely afternoon and the food was excellent, as was the entertainment and musical rendition.”
And Bindi Dillon added: “It was a super lovely afternoon. So much thought and kindness went into organising this fab event from food, drink and amazing sweet treats. Thanks again and thanks for all you do for everyone.”
