Saturday 22nd October 2022 at the Whitty Theatre, Wokingham will see an independently organised variety fundraiser concert in aid of Macmillan Cancer. This will be the 3rd successful show initially planned for 2020 but got postponed due to covid. The unique variety show is now rescheduled for October with a great variety of acts lined up to raise money for a worthy cause.
An Evening of Entertainment 2022 is an independently organised fundraiser concert in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The previous concerts in 2016 and 2017 were really successful and I had great feedback with a huge request to do it again but unfortunately, due to the worldwide pandemic, the 2020 show was postponed. So I’ve accepted the challenge and am looking to improve the variety of performers I add to my lineup.
The more impressed the audience is with what’s on show, hopefully, the deeper they will reach into those pockets! The show will be returning to The Whitty Theatre for a third year after previous audiences were thoroughly entertained, but this time, will feature an even bigger variety of acts. In addition to the talent on display, there will also be a raffle to help raise that little bit extra.
The money raised will help fund Macmillan’s increasing range of services, including their Macmillan nurses, a range of cancer information services, practical help at home, and help with money.
Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm. Tickets cost £15 for Adults, £8 for children, and under 5’s are free. Family tickets are also available.
