The Twyford Beer Festival starts tomorrow (Thursday 8th June) at 6pm and will run until 10pm on Saturday.
Now in its 13th year, the event brings together a wide selection of beer, cider and spirits, with live entertainment at Stanlake Meadow in Twyford.
There will also be a selection of soft drinks for those who are driving. Funds raised will be donated to Orchid, a male cancer charity.
The festival starts with a performance by Crazy Diamond, a Pink Floyd cover band, on the Thursday evening, with tickets priced at £10. It is the same price to buy tickets for Friday, while Saturday tickets are £15.
Orchid is the UK’s leading charity for those affected by male cancer. For more than 25 years they have been working to save men’s lives from testicular, penile and prostate cancer through a range of support services, education and awareness campaigns and a world-class research programme.
Orchid was founded in 1996 by testicular cancer patient Colin Osborne MBE and Professor Tim Oliver, the oncologist who saved his life. Today, they carry forward this grassroots approach to supporting men with male cancer, educating communities and working with research professionals.
