Preparations are well underway in Wokingham for the coronation.
The town hall is starting to look rather special as the flags go up and the bunting is put out for the coronation.
The Barkham Hookers Charity Group have also been hard at work and the town hall will be displaying some of their creations to mark the occasion.
The Barkham Hookers have been very busy crocheting post box toppers ahead of the King Charles III Coronation. There will be 40 coronation post box toppers around the Wokingham area on display during the coronation.
The Barkham Hookers have also decorated the outside of Wokingham Town Hall, turning it red, white and blue and fit for our king.
Barkham Hookers was first started 10 years ago by Barkham resident, Gaynor White. She told My Wokingham they crochet for charity and this year’s chosen charity is First Days Children’s Charity, Wokingham. Over the years the ladies have raised thousands of pounds for local charities
