Wokingham town centre is glowing with festive cheer after thousands of twinkling lights were put up for Christmas.
The tree is up and decorated outside the town hall and some new Christmas displays have been added this year in Rose Street and outside Waitrose and Broad Street.
The lights will be officially switched on at Wokingham Winter Carnival on Sunday 26th November.
With more than 125 stalls, funfair rides, food and entertainment there will be lots to do and see. The town is closed to traffic for the day so children can join in the fun in a totally safe environment. There will be a whole host of street entertainers, music, singing, dancing and the fun of the fair with loads of different rides.
Santa will be in his grotto and for lunch there are stalls offering an amazing choice of food and drink. There are stalls selling gifts too, so why not get your Christmas shopping sorted?
