Wokingham Borough has become victim to a double Ram Raid overnight. We visit the scene and speak to Thames Valley Police for an update on the crime that has stopped two business from trading today and left them with huge bills.
Owing to the timings and locations of the two Ram Raids My Wokingham suspects that the crimes are linked but this is mere speculation on our part. At this time Thames Valley Police don’t appear to be linking the crimes and to be dealing with them as two separate incidents.
The Cherry Local Food & Wine store at 93 Bean Oak Rd, Wokingham RG40 1RJ has sustained severe frontal damage as Ram Raiders smashed the front of the shop. Speculation is that thieves were attempting to gain access to a cash point in the building as well as stealing alcohol. This afternoon the business was being repaired by the owners who now face huge bills and loss of business owing to the senseless raid on their business.
