We’ve been busy at our Sensory Garden at Acorn Community Centre! Thank you to Freely Fruity for the Living Wall plants and Squire’s Garden Centres for the discounted plants – more to come from other sources. Thank you also to David from Growing Places Berkshire. Great effort from great people in the community.

The Acorn Community Centre is located next to Woosehill Medical Centre on Fernlea Drive. The Centre is home to the Optalis Learning Disabilities Day Centre, and the Acorn café and garden are open to the public. We have meeting rooms and a small hall available to hire for evenings and weekends.
The café is open Tuesdays to Fridays 09:30 am to 1 pm for hot and cold drinks, snacks and light lunches.
Come and enjoy a coffee, have a look around our Sensory Garden and buy a pot plant or two from the Growing Places project. They would love to see you!
